Daniel Robitaille

In the late 50's Dan's parents moved form Quebec to Ontario (Elliot Lake).  As a young boy he grew to love the outdoors, all sport, and classical music.  Dan played every sport "in the book" during his high school years before continuing to university and becoming interested in olympic weightlifting.  He was head of the Physical Education department from 1977- 2007 at Villa Francaise des Jeunes Elliot Lake.  While teaching his extra-curricular involvement was mainly in sports and music.  Although retired from teaching, Dan is still passionate about piano, snatch, and clean and jerk.
